Everything You Need to Know for a Successful Summit!

  • The Summit is located at 350 7 ave SW, floor 34, Calgary Alberta. 
  • Breakfast at 7:30, and kickoff at 8:00 am
  • 4 pm wrap up, with cocktails
  • There are several parking lots close to the venue, including underground at Bow Parkade at 231 6 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2P 0R2, or outside at Lot 175/176 500 6 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2P 0S1
  • Morning pastries, fruit and coffee and tea will be available all morning.  Lunch will be provided, as well as afternoon coffee, and the Summit will conclude with an hour of cocktails and conversations.
  • Only invited business owners can attend the event.  Business owners may be accompanied by their Wealth Manager or Accountant.
  • Your registration includes a full day of rich content focused around how to prepare your business for a future exit, how to maximize value before and during the exit process, what an exit, and post exit transition entails, legal, accounting and M&A insights, as well as a presentation from acclaimed speaker and author Scott Bushkie.
  • Optional & Complimentary –Qualitative assessment completed before the Summit
  • Optional & Complimentary-  An opinion of value initiated at the Summit.  Our experts will start the process and let you know what’s needed to receive an estimated value for your business, while considering your industry, and market research.

  • Confidentiality is priority in all aspects of the Exit Edge Summit
  • All business owners have been invited to attend the Summit, and it is not open to the public. 
  • All attendees with be on a first name basis only
  • For any analysis (fully optional) on your business that is completed before or started during the summit, NDA’s will be provided.
  • Dress code is business casual/casual.  We want you to be comfortable for the duration of the day.
  • There will be networking opportunities available throughout the day with business owners who have already exited, as well as those looking at exiting in 5 years.  Additionally, side rooms will be open to promote conversations around valuations, or to provide a space for questions that a business owner may not want to share with the group. Our Shark Tank presentation will host a few different types of buyers, and they will be open to questions and conversations in the afternoon sessions.
  • With a limited number of seats released, all registrations are final sale.  If there is an emergency a ticket transfer to a future Exit Edge Summit may be considered.
  • Attendees will be provided a link to all of the content presented, and made available for up to 30 days after the Summit.  Attendees are not permitted to take photos of recordings.
  • Attendees can schedule private consultations with Exit Edge Experts to discuss specific business needs. A sign up will be sent the week before the Summit for sign up times.
  • All attendees will have access to presentations from the Summit, available to download for up to 30 days after the Summit. Each attendee will also receive a curated Giveaway bag provided at the end of the day (4 pm)
  • Yes, there will be side rooms available for calls should you need them.

     
  • Bring your curiosity and questions, and be present and ready to learn about the exit process to prepare you now, or 5 years from now to make a successful transition.
  • We believe in full transparency, and will make our expenses and revenues available.  All proceeds will go directly to charity, and we hope the charity will be on site at the end of each Exit Edge Summit to receive a cheque.
